We offer one on one training or you can train with a partner. BREAKAWAY offers a variety of programs. You can train for 30 minutes, 45 minutes or 1 hour with a certified staff member. You can train once a week or train as many times per week as you like. You can also partner up with a buddy. Call BREAKAWAY to find out which program is right for you. Come train in either our McLean VA, Fairfax VA or Sterling VA studio or we can come to you. Sessions start at $40!
Or for the self-motivated individual try the Coach BREAKAWAY program. Programs starting as low as $35 a month for online work outs or meet with your coach once a week and receive a program tailored just for your needs for the rest of the week. Fitness enthusiasts or competitive athletes (runners, cyclist, High School and college athletes, triathletes) cannot go wrong with their BREAKAWAY coach programs. Each are tailored to each individual and their sport from a staff member that has been and is still a competitive athlete. At anytime you can get an assessment of your fitness level or get a package for your company for an overall wellness assessment. We do fitness assessments, body fat analysis, metabolic testing and VO2 Max testing. BREAKAWAY also has Corporate Wellness programs, off and on-site. You can check with your health insurance provider and get reduced rates with your wellness assessment here at BREAKAWAY.

BREAKAWAY offers a variety of scientific testing to help you achieve your health and fitness goals. We offer body fat analysis, resting metabolic rate test and a VO2 Max test at reasonable costs. These (3) testing tools are a great way to measure where you are and where you need to go.
Put the scale away and get a body fat analysis to see what % of your body is fat and what is muscle, bones and tissue.
Not sure how many calories you burn during the day and you are looking to lose weight or gain weight? Then the way to do it is with an RMR – resting metabolic rate test. It can screen for a slowed metabolism that may explain frustrated attempts to lose weight in the past. It can reveal changes in your metabolism during the weight loss process that can help trouble shoot a frustrating plateau. Once a goal weight has been reached, an RMR measurement can give you the precise caloric prescription necessary to maintain that goal weight.
Many people are inefficient exercisers, with no understanding of what heart rate, intensity or duration would best help them reach their specific goals such as fat burning, endurance training, or cardio conditioning. To find out your exact fitness level, a VO2 Max test done either on a treadmill or bike will give you the proper tools to help become an efficient exerciser. You will find out how many calories you burn during exercise and what your training zones are. Good for beginners and competitive athletes: a VO2 Max test is the best way to test your to set realistic goals and assess improvement.

BREAKAWAY also offers CycleFit 45 classes and other classes at our Sport location.
This class will give you an awesome cycling workout either on your trainer and bike or one of our spinning bikes and you may have some running thrown in. You will also get an amazing resistance training workout with a ton of core all in one session. You will find we do a lot of pull ups, push ups, kettle bell, med ball and weights along with the cardio. You will improve your strength and stamina in no time in this class. Class offered at 12 Noon Friday’s Fitness, Tyson’s location. CycleFit 90 – 6 AM Friday’s at Sport location.
Muffin-Top BOOT CAMP at the Sport location. This is a boot camp unlike any other. You will never have a big huge group and you will won’t be stuck on some field. You will use weights, kettle bells, your body weight and more!
