Jeff continues to make progress on his workouts. This week he commented, “my body is feeling good; I have no complaints and no pain. But, I am still struggling a bit as I get very frustrated with my range of motion.” Not to worry as he could still do some curls for the girls.
This week Jeff did four sets of 15 reps with a one minute rest between sets. This change creates stimulus to keep his muscles growing. He also wants to work on his basic endurance. Since he can’t push heavy weights right now, he needs to build up his strength through lifting light weights. According to Jeff, “I have to build my base.” Check Jeff out doing clean high pulls-does he still have the technique? : IMG_0278
Jeff’s workout this week:
Monday – Back and Biceps
Tuesday – Chest and Triceps
Wednesday – Legs and Shoulders
Rinse and Repeat!
Jeff didn’t do any met sets, but did ride his bike 20 minutes two times. It was biking for purpose. Jeff had to drop off his ancient, brakeless Chevy Tahoe and pick it up when it was finished. Jeff says “it was worth the bike ride in the cold.” His wife isn’t sure about that and worries that he’s a hoarder. At least he got on the bike!
