When BREAKAWAY was founded in 2001 they had a vision of creating active lifestyles for people that were healthy, safe, effective and fun. They always wanted to promote that through a 5K where the community can come together and promote healthy lifestyles with fun while benefiting a wonderful charities. Life with Cancer is a charity that everyone can relate to as cancer affects everyone. Life with Cancer's mission is to enhance the quality of life of those affected by cancer by providing education, information and most importantly support. The Eric Monday Foundation strives to help remove the stigma associated with mental health issues through the promotion of the sport of wresting.
In 2015 BREAKAWAY made the dream as a reality and held their first 5K right in the heart of Tysons Corner. Join us in supporting Life with Cancer while leading a healthy lifestyle.
